An Unsent Draft: His Reassurance

Before we left Silicon Valley for Texas, I wrote this post but did not send. It has stayed in the draft for months.

Today, I’m publishing it to give thanks to God my savior for keeping eyes upon us along the move.

As I mentioned in this article, we are moving to Dallas.

This is the first time ever we are designing our lifestyle, rather than letting jobs dictate us. However, I had something back in mind that kept telling me — “nothing is perfect.” What if there is something that we did not consider when making this life-changing decision?

On Saturday morning, my husband woke up and opened his Bible app on the phone, and was doing his morning devotion. I turned over, reading the following on his screen.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you go through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:2
