How My Medium Story Got Curated
How It Relates to the Startup Mentality
Here is what happened in the past week - I wrote an article about how to write a software technical design document on the weekend. That was not my first time writing on Medium. I had been writing on different topics for 5 years, but none of my stories had ever been widely distributed.
The next morning after I published this article, I got an email from Medium -
At the same time, I received invitations from the editors of 4 different well-known Medium publications, to add this article to their publications. Ever since then, I have seen huge upticks in Internal and External Views and Member Reading Time that I had never experienced before.
It was an unanticipated and flattering experience. I have been reflecting on what I did differently from my previous Stories. Here is what I have learned from publishing my first-ever Medium curated Story.
